POSITION FILLED***** The NMA is seeking an Executive Vice President. This position will oversee management of the organization including membership, advocacy, education, industry interaction, an annual meeting, and other affiliated activities. S/he is responsible for establishing and achieving operating and financial objectives established by a 16-member Board of Directors. The Executive Vice President will work closely with the NMA Board of Directors to identify the organization’s strategic priorities, facilitate those priorities into actions, continue to evolve the NMA as an organization, and retain and attract Nebraska physicians to the organization. 

The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with the capabilities to build internal relationships with staff, external relationships with physician leaders, physician groups, non-member physician and patient care groups, medical school leadership and students, health systems leadership and other medical societies. S/he will have executive level work experience with demonstrated success in leading, planning, and organizing operations.  Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus. Salary commensurate with the position.
