The AMA has provided federation members with a summary of the recently passed House opioid legislation, H.R. 6, the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act or the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act.  The AMA summary provides a higlight of a number of provisions which may be of particular interest to physicians based on discussions with various states, specialties, and House offices.
